Zacapa Centenario XO Rum is a premium South American rum produced in the tradition of Venezuela, Colombia or Guatemala, where the tropical climate, quality sugarcane molasses and skilled blending produce rums of remarkable smoothness and complexity. South American premium rums are among the most awarded in the world, with producers such as Diplomatico, Zacapa and Dictador earning global recognition for their luxuriously smooth, deeply aged expressions. These rums are typically aged using continuous blending or solera systems in tropical conditions that accelerate maturation, yielding a rich, full-bodied spirit with layers of vanilla, dried fruit, toffee and oak. The nose is fragrant and complex, while the palate is smooth, full and exceptionally long-finishing. Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube at room temperature.
