Yalumba Eden Valley Chardonnay is sourced from Yalumba's own estate vineyard high in the Eden Valley, situated at an elevation of 545 metres above sea level — a cool-climate environment that produces Chardonnay of extraordinary freshness, precision, and natural acidity. The Eden Valley sub-region of the Barossa is internationally recognised for producing some of Australia's finest white wines, with cool nights and moderate days creating ideal conditions for aromatic development and retained acidity. This Chardonnay presents a bright straw colour and a fragrant, zesty nose of fresh citrus, white peach, and floral notes with a mineral, cool-climate character. On the palate it is medium-bodied, fresh, and textural with vibrant natural acidity, clean stone fruit and citrus flavours, and a long, fine finish.
