Vasse Felix Heytesbury Chardonnay is the flagship white wine of Margaret River's founding wine estate and is consistently regarded as one of Australia's great Chardonnays. Sourced from premium estate vineyards in the Margaret River wine region, the Heytesbury Chardonnay is crafted with wild yeast fermentation, barrel maturation in French oak, and partial malolactic fermentation — a winemaking approach that produces wines of extraordinary complexity, texture, and longevity. The wine presents a rich golden straw colour and an intensely complex nose of ripe peach and apple skin, flint, lemon zest, curry leaf, brine, and a saline, mineral precision. On the palate it is full-bodied with concentrated fruit, seamlessly integrated toasty oak, a crystalline acidity, and a long, fine finish of exceptional length. This wine rewards cellaring and reflects the world-class quality that Margaret River achieves with Chardonnay.
