Taylors Estate Pinot Gris is a premium Australian Pinot Gris from one of the Clare Valley's most respected family wine estates. Pinot Gris in the Alsatian style — full-bodied, textured, and richly aromatic — is quite different from the lighter Pinot Grigio of northern Italy. Taylors crafts their Pinot Gris to showcase the variety's characteristic richness: a full straw colour, an aromatic nose of ripe pear, apple, stone fruit, and gentle spice, and a palate of medium to full body with a characteristic soft, textured mouthfeel. The Clare Valley's combination of warm days and cool nights helps produce Pinot Gris with both fruit ripeness and the natural acidity needed for balance. On the palate Taylors Pinot Gris delivers generous pear and stone fruit flavours, gentle spice character, and a soft, rounded finish.
