St Remy VSOP Brandy is produced by Bols, a company with a distilling history dating to 1575, now based in the Netherlands. The St Remy label is one of the world's best-selling French brandy brands, produced in France from wine-distilled base spirits aged in oak casks. VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) designates a minimum maturation period of four years in oak. St Remy VSOP is blended from selected aged eaux-de-vie and bottled at 40% ABV, representing a widely available and reliable expression of the French brandy style. On the nose, dried fruit, caramel, vanilla and light toasted oak are characteristic. The palate is smooth and approachable, with notes of dried apricot, toffee and gentle wood spice. The finish is of medium length, clean and softly warming. Available in 700ml and 375ml formats.
