St Remy Napoleon Brandy is produced by Bols, a Dutch distilling company with a production history dating to 1575, now based in Zoetermeer, Netherlands. The St Remy range is one of the world's best-selling French brandy labels and is produced in France from wine-distilled base spirits aged in oak casks. The Napoleon designation refers to the brandy style and is an intermediate quality tier above VSOP within the St Remy range. The brandy is distilled from selected wines and matured in French oak barrels, producing a smooth, accessible spirit at 40% ABV. On the nose, notes of caramel, dried fruit, vanilla and light oak are characteristic. The palate is smooth and rounded, with dried apricot, toffee and gentle wood spice. The finish is of moderate length, clean and warming. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 350ml format.
