Schofferhofer Grapefruit Radler is a German Radler — a refreshing blend of wheat beer and natural grapefruit juice that creates a light, fruity and thirst-quenching beverage with lower alcohol content. The Radler tradition originates in Bavaria, where cyclists (Radler means 'cyclist' in German) would mix beer with lemonade or fruit juice for refreshment on long rides. Schöfferhofer's grapefruit Radler combines naturally cloudy Hefeweizen with real grapefruit juice for a naturally refreshing, fruity and slightly tart flavour profile. The nose is fresh and citrus-forward with natural grapefruit and wheat aromas, while the palate is light, refreshing and pleasantly tart with a clean, dry finish. Serve well chilled at 4-6 degrees Celsius.
