Salatin Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut is an Italian sparkling wine crafted from Glera grapes in the Veneto or Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, using the Charmat (Martinotti) method in which secondary fermentation occurs in large pressurised stainless-steel tanks. This preserves the grape's natural freshness and delicate aromatic character. The wine presents with a pale straw-yellow colour, fine lively bubbles and a light frothy mousse. The bouquet is floral and fruit-forward with aromas of white peach, pear, apple blossom and subtle citrus. On the palate it is light-bodied and refreshing with flavours of stone fruit, citrus and a clean, gently persistent finish. Serve well chilled at 6-8 degrees Celsius.
