Opal Nera Black Sambuca is a classic anise-flavoured liqueur with an intensely aromatic character derived from star anise, green anise and other complementary botanicals. Anise liqueurs have a long and distinguished history in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern drinking culture, traditionally enjoyed as aperitifs or digestifs. The distinctive flavour is characterised by clean, sweet aniseed notes with herbal complexity and a pleasantly warming finish. Served traditionally neat, on the rocks, or with three coffee beans floating in the glass in the Italian sambuca tradition.
