Maschio dei Cavalieri Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut is a Spanish sparkling wine produced using the Metodo Tradicional, in which secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle - the same technique used in the making of Champagne. Cava is produced predominantly in the Penedes region of Catalonia, crafted from indigenous varieties such as Macabeo, Xarel-lo and Parellada, which give the wine its distinctive character and regional identity. It presents with a pale golden colour and fine, persistent bubbles. The nose offers aromas of citrus, green apple, white flowers and subtle yeasty notes, while the palate is crisp and vibrant with flavours of lemon, pear and toasted bread. The finish is long and refreshing. Serve at 8 degrees Celsius.
