Lion Stout is a Sri Lankan stout of international renown, produced by Lion Brewery in Colombo and recognised as one of Asia's finest stout expressions. Lion Stout is brewed using British-style stout techniques adapted to tropical conditions, and its high ABV combined with tropical maturation delivers an exceptionally rich and complex character. The beer has won numerous international awards and is widely exported, earning a devoted following among stout enthusiasts globally. The nose is rich and complex with roasted coffee, dark chocolate, dried fruit and molasses, while the palate is full-bodied, warming and intense with a long, roasted and slightly sweet finish. Best enjoyed at 10-12 degrees Celsius, slightly below room temperature.
