Jim Barry The Florita Riesling is one of Australia's most prestigious and collectible Rieslings — a single-vineyard Riesling from the Florita Vineyard, one of Clare Valley's most celebrated and historic Riesling sites. The Florita Vineyard was planted in 1968 on Watervale red-brown loam soils over limestone, and has produced wines of extraordinary concentration, mineral intensity, and longevity for over five decades. The Florita is widely regarded as one of Jim Barry's flagship wines and a benchmark example of Clare Valley Riesling at its very finest. The wine presents a pale straw colour with green hues and a highly aromatic, expressive nose of lime juice, lemon blossom, mandarin, and a distinctive mineral, almost stony character.
