Jever Pilsner is a German-style lager or pilsner brewed to the exacting standards of German brewing tradition, which has set the global benchmark for clean, crisp and well-attenuated lager beer for centuries. Germany's Reinheitsgebot (Beer Purity Law) of 1516 established a tradition of quality and consistency that continues to define the character of German lager today. Brewed with quality barley malt, noble German hops and soft water, this beer is fermented at cold temperatures and lagered for weeks to develop its characteristic clean, crisp and well-rounded flavour. The nose is fresh and hoppy with floral and herbal notes from German hop varieties, while the palate is crisp, dry, moderately bitter and refreshing with a clean, lasting finish. Serve well chilled at 4-6 degrees Celsius in a tall pilsner or lager glass.
