Jameson Cold Brew is the result of a natural and long-overdue union — Irish whiskey and coffee, two of Ireland's most beloved drinking traditions, brought together in one bottle. Produced at the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, it combines Jameson's triple-distilled Irish whiskey base with the rich, bold character of 100% Arabica cold brew coffee sourced from carefully selected beans in Brazil and Colombia. The result is something genuinely distinct from an Irish Coffee — this is a chilled, coffee-forward spirit designed to be served cold rather than hot, with an altogether different personality.
Unlike heavily sweetened coffee liqueurs, Jameson Cold Brew is deliberately whiskey-forward — the cold brew adds depth, roasted richness, and a natural bitterness that complements rather than overwhelms the smooth pot still and grain whiskey base. At 30% ABV it sits in an approachable, lighter alcohol category that makes it extremely versatile across a range of serves and occasions. Tasting Notes
Deep caramel brown in the glass. The nose is rich and immediately inviting — intense roasted coffee bean aromatics, dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla nuttiness, and subtle hints of tobacco, underpinned by the familiar warmth of Jameson pot still whiskey. The palate is smooth, bold, and well-balanced — roasted coffee beans, sweet vanilla, cocoa, light caramel, and a gentle charred wood spice from the pot still spirit, with considerably less sweetness than a typical coffee liqueur. The finish is smooth, mellow, and slightly dry, with a lingering coffee warmth that fades gradually and cleanly.
Serves Best With
Best enjoyed over ice with a wedge of orange — the classic Jameson Cold Brew serve that lets the coffee and citrus play off each other beautifully. Also excellent with cola and orange for a longer, more casual drink, or shaken with ice and strained as a chilled shot. For cocktails, it makes an outstanding Irish twist on an Espresso Martini — shake 45ml Jameson Cold Brew with 30ml espresso and ice, double strain into a chilled coupe, and garnish with three coffee beans.
