Grappa Nonino Vendemmia is produced by Distillatori Nonino, a family-owned distillery founded in 1897 in Percoto, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeast Italy. Nonino is widely regarded as one of the world's leading grappa producers and is credited with pioneering the production of Monovitigno (single-variety) grappa. The Vendemmia expression is produced from freshly harvested grape pomace sourced from selected vineyards in Friuli, distilled using traditional discontinuous steam stills in copper. This artisanal approach preserves the aromatic integrity of the raw material and produces a grappa of remarkable finesse. On the nose, delicate grape, pear and white floral aromas develop with warmth. The palate is smooth, with fruit-forward character and a rounded, elegant texture. The finish is clean, warming and of medium to long length, characteristic of premium Friulian grappa.
