Grant Burge East Argyle Pinot Gris is crafted from Pinot Gris grapes sourced from the East Argyle Vineyard, a dedicated vineyard site that forms part of Grant Burge's extensive premium fruit network across South Australia. Pinot Gris — the full-bodied, textured expression of the grape variety known as Pinot Grigio in its Italian incarnation — produces wines of considerable weight and aromatic richness when grown in well-suited conditions. This wine presents a pale to medium straw colour and an expressive nose of ripe pear, lychee, and tropical fruit with hints of warming ginger and cinnamon spice. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied and textured, with a generous mouthfeel, flavours of ripe nashi pear, lychee, and gentle spice, and a dry, balanced finish.
