Gold Gate Crack Peach Spumante is an Italian sparkling wine from the Asti DOCG appellation in the Piedmont region of north-western Italy, produced from Moscato Bianco (Muscat Blanc a Petits Grains) grapes using the Charmat method. Asti Spumante is renowned for its naturally sweet, intensely aromatic character and relatively low alcohol content, achieved by halting fermentation to retain residual grape sugar. The wine presents with a pale straw-yellow colour and abundant fine bubbles. The bouquet is intensely aromatic with notes of fresh peach, apricot, orange blossom, rose and fresh grape. On the palate it is light, sweet and refreshing with vivid fruit flavours and a clean, crisp finish defined by the natural acidity of the Moscato grape. Serve well chilled at 6-8 degrees Celsius.
