Espolon Blanco Tequila 40% 700ml Bottle

Espolon Blanco Tequila is produced by Destilería San Nicolas in Los Altos (the Highlands) of Jalisco, Mexico. Espolon was founded in 1998 by master distiller Cirilo Oropeza and is now part of the Campari Group. The brand takes its name from the 'espuela' (spur) — a symbol of the cockfighting and charreada traditions of Jalisco's cultural heritage. The Blanco expression is produced from 100% Blue Weber Agave harvested from the volcanic red clay soils of the Jalisco Highlands. The agave is slow-roasted in brick ovens, fermented in stainless steel tanks and double-distilled in copper pot stills before bottling without ageing. On the nose, fresh and fruity aromas of pineapple, citrus and agave are prominent. The palate is clean and vibrant, with tropical fruit, cooked agave and light pepper. The finish is dry, crisp and of medium length. Bottled at 40% ABV.
