Delamain Extra is produced by Delamain & Co, one of Cognac's oldest and most respected independent houses, founded in 1762 and based in Jarnac, France. Delamain specialises exclusively in Grande Champagne Cognac — the most prestigious of the six Cognac crus — and produces only Cognac aged for a minimum of 25 years. The Extra expression represents the pinnacle of the Delamain range, blending exceptionally aged eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne appellation. The spirit displays all the hallmarks of extended maturation: a pale, luminous amber colour and an exceptional aromatic complexity. On the nose, delicate florals, dried fruit and subtle rancio notes develop alongside hints of dried flowers and long-aged oak. The palate is refined and precise, with extraordinary balance and depth. The finish is of exceptional length, complex and lingering.
