Corazon Reposado Tequila 40% 750ml Bottle

Corazon Reposado Tequila is produced at the San Nicolas distillery (NOM 1530) in Jalisco, Mexico, in collaboration with Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. Corazon uses ex-Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels from the acclaimed Kentucky distillery for ageing its Reposado expression, creating a distinctive flavour profile that reflects both the agave character of Jalisco and the barrel influence of American bourbon maturation. The Reposado is aged for approximately four months in previously used Buffalo Trace American white oak barrels. The bourbon influence from these casks contributes vanilla, caramel and a subtle hint of American oak to the tequila's natural agave character. On the nose, sweet vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and ripe agave aromas develop. The palate is smooth and well-integrated, with cooked agave, vanilla, light caramel and gentle spice. The finish is of medium length, smooth and warming. Bottled at 40% ABV.
