Swinkels is one of the largest family-owned brewing companies in the world, with a brewing history dating to 1719. Claro is a Mexican-style lager brewed with tequila flavouring added during the brewing process, creating a beer that combines the light, refreshing character of a pale lager with aromas and flavour notes associated with tequila. The beer is brewed at 5.9% ABV and presented in 330ml bottles. On the nose, the beer presents aromas of tequila character, sweet citrus fruit, grain and light floral notes. The palate is light-bodied and refreshing, with sweet citrus, a hint of agave-like flavour and a crisp, clean lager finish. The finish is dry and of short to medium length.
