Cenote Reposado Tequila is produced from 100% Blue Weber Agave at a distillery in the Los Valles (Valley) region of Jalisco, Mexico. The brand name references the natural limestone sinkholes (cenotes) found across the Yucatan Peninsula — a reference to the underground water sources that have sustained the Mesoamerican cultures of Mexico for millennia. The tequila is double-distilled before being aged for approximately three months in American oak bourbon barrels. This period of maturation contributes a pale golden colour and additional body and complexity to the agave spirit. On the nose, roasted agave, vanilla, light caramel and warm spice develop alongside subtle citrus. The palate is smooth and well-rounded, with cooked agave sweetness, vanilla oak and gentle spice. The finish is clean, medium-length and warming. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 700ml format.
