Cazcabel Tequila Blanco is produced in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, from 100% Blue Weber Agave. The brand is named after the Cazcabel rattlesnake, native to the agave-growing regions of Jalisco. Cazcabel is produced by a family-run distillery in Arandas, in the Los Altos (Highlands) region of Jalisco, where the red clay soils and high altitude produce agave plants with higher sugar content than the lowland Tequila Valley. The tequila is unaged, distilled and bottled without oak maturation to preserve the pure agave character of the Highland fruit. It is bottled at 38% ABV in a 700ml format. On the nose, crisp, fresh agave aromas are prominent, supported by citrus zest, light pepper and herbal notes. The palate is clean and well-defined, with cooked agave, citrus and a gentle spice. The finish is clean, dry and of medium length.
