Casamigos Blanco Tequila is produced at the NOM 1416 distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Casamigos was founded in 2013 and is produced from 100% Blue Weber Agave grown in the Highlands (Los Altos) of Jalisco, where the cooler climate and red clay soils produce particularly sweet, complex agave plants. The agave is slow-roasted in brick ovens for 72 hours and fermented for 80 hours — significantly longer than industry standard — before double distillation. The Blanco expression is unaged and rested for two months in stainless steel before bottling, which contributes smoothness without adding colour or oak character. On the nose, the Blanco presents a fresh, clean agave character with subtle citrus, light pepper and floral notes. The palate is smooth and well-defined, with crisp agave, citrus and a gentle sweetness. The finish is clean, medium-long and characterised by pure Highland agave. Bottled at 40% ABV.
