Averna Grappa di Grillo is produced in Sicily, Italy, by the Averna distillery. This grappa is obtained from the distillation of the pomace of Grillo and Inzolia — two prized indigenous white grape varieties of Sicilian viticulture. The distillation is carried out using traditional methods that preserve the aromatic character of these Sicilian varieties. The resulting spirit is bottled at 40% ABV and reflects the warm, sun-drenched terroir of Sicily's viticultural landscape. On the nose, the grappa presents an aromatic bouquet of fresh peach, citrus blossom and delicate floral notes. The palate is smooth and slightly sweet, with stone fruit character and a clean, persistent finish. Averna is one of Italy's most established spirits producers and is recognised for its portfolio of grappas and liqueurs. The Grappa di Grillo represents the character of traditional Sicilian pomace distillation.
