Applewood Red Okar Aperitif is an Australian botanical aperitif crafted by Applewood Distillery in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, drawing on a selection of native Australian botanicals. Red Okar is inspired by the classic Italian bitter aperitif tradition but reimagined using distinctly Australian ingredients, including Riberry, a native bush food with a spicy, clove-like flavour. The result is a vibrant red-hued aperitif of genuine character and complexity. The nose is aromatic and botanical with notes of native fruit, bitter citrus and gentle spice.
