Alkoomi Black Label Riesling is the estate's premium tier Riesling, sourced from selected vineyard blocks in the Frankland River sub-region of Western Australia's Great Southern — one of Australia's most distinguished environments for producing Riesling of intensity, purity, and exceptional longevity. The Black Label represents Alkoomi's finest selection, crafted to express the true quality potential of the Frankland River terroir. This wine presents a pale straw colour with vivid green hues and a highly aromatic nose of lime juice, citrus blossom, green apple, and a characteristic mineral, almost flinty note that is the hallmark of great Frankland River Riesling. On the palate it is bone-dry and precise, with concentrated citrus and apple fruit, vibrant natural acidity, and a long, clean, mineral finish of considerable length. This wine rewards cellaring and develops complexity with age.
