Absolut Vanilia is a Swedish vanilla-flavoured vodka built on Absolut's classic spirit — distilled from winter wheat and pristine water drawn from deep local wells, and produced in the village of Åhus in southern Sweden, the single source of every drop of Absolut. Introduced in 2003, it infuses the brand's signature smoothness with natural vanilla character.
On the nose it's warm and sweet, with bourbon vanilla, toffee and caramel. The palate is rich, smooth and creamy, full of vanilla bean with subtle butterscotch and a hint of dark chocolate, carrying through to a long, elegant finish with balanced sweetness. Like the rest of the Absolut range, it's made exclusively from natural ingredients with no added sugar, which keeps the vanilla character clean rather than cloying and makes it highly versatile in dessert-style cocktails.
Served with: A natural fit for the Vanilla Espresso Martini — shake with freshly brewed espresso, coffee liqueur and a little sugar syrup, then strain. Equally good in a Vanilla White Russian, stirred through cola over ice, or simply poured over ice to let the vanilla character show.
