The spirit is matured for a minimum of two years in a combination of French and American oak barrels previously used for Chardonnay wine, contributing softness and character. On the nose, aromas of vanilla, ripe stone fruit and light caramel are present, underscored by gentle toasted oak. The palate is soft and rounded, with dried apricot, butterscotch and subtle warming spice. The finish is clean and of moderate length, with lingering vanilla and oak notes.
