1800 Coconut Tequila is produced by Jose Cuervo International at the La Rojeña distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. The base tequila is produced from 100% Weber Blue Agave and double-distilled before being infused with natural coconut flavouring. The coconut infusion is sourced from natural, ripe coconuts, which are blended with the silver tequila base to create a smooth, tropical flavoured tequila. The expression is bottled at 35% ABV. On the nose, the aroma is dominated by fresh, sweet coconut alongside the underlying fresh agave character of the base tequila. The palate is soft, lightly sweet and tropical, with prominent coconut flavour and a smooth, agave-driven backbone. The finish is clean and of moderate length, with lingering coconut sweetness. Available in a 700ml format.
