This two-stage ageing process contributes complexity and a characteristic smooth, rounded profile to the finished spirit. On the nose, tropical fruit aromas including papaya and pineapple blend with vanilla, cinnamon and warm spice. The palate is smooth and well-rounded, with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and a pronounced clove character. The finish is of medium length and warming, with lingering spice.
