The pisco is produced in the Ica Valley wine region of Peru — one of the most important pisco-producing areas — from a blend of selected grape varieties including Italia, Negra Criolla, Quebranta and Moscatel. The spirit is distilled in traditional copper pot stills and bottled without ageing, in keeping with Peruvian pisco regulations. On the nose, floral and fruity aromatics are prominent, with grape, citrus blossom and tropical notes characteristic of the Acholado blend. The palate is round and smooth, with fruity complexity and a clean, dry finish of medium length.
