Throughout the 19th century, Jameson's Bow Street Distillery was internationally famed for its single pot still whiskey, exported across Europe, Africa, and South America. When tastes shifted in the late 20th century, Jameson transitioned to the blended style that has since become the world's best-selling Irish whiskey. This expression is the proudly revived throwback — a single pot still whiskey crafted under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Kevin O'Gorman that allows a new generation of drinkers to experience a piece of genuine Jameson history.

Crafted from a mash bill of at least 30% malted barley and 30% unmalted barley, triple-distilled in traditional copper pot stills for the signature silky texture and spicy character that defines the style, Jameson Single Pot Still is then matured across an impressive five oak cask types — ex-bourbon, ex-Sherry, virgin American oak, virgin European oak, and virgin Irish oak. Each cask contributes a distinct layer of flavour and complexity, from the classic vanilla and dried fruit of the seasoned casks to the elevated woodland spices and toasted oak of the three virgin varieties. Tasting Notes
Rich golden amber in the glass. The nose is generous and inviting — wood-driven cinnamon and nutmeg intertwined with sweet honeycomb, salted caramel fudge, butterscotch, and vanilla, with zesty fruit notes and earthy woodland spices building in the background. The palate is rich, textural, and beautifully layered — dark chocolate, spicy toffee, ground cinnamon, freshly grated ginger, and touches of orange peel, with the five cask types delivering intricate sweet and smoked wood tones balanced by a silky pot still mouthfeel. The finish is long, warm, and complex, with lingering spice, toasted oak, and a gentle chocolatey sweetness.

Best appreciated neat or with a few drops of still water to fully explore the complexity of five different oak influences. Also outstanding over a single large ice cube.
