Hills Crest Distillery Australian Brandy is a single barrel expression produced at Hills Crest Distillery, a small-batch, family-owned and operated distillery located in Mount Helena in the Perth Hills, Western Australia. The distillery was established to produce premium handcrafted spirits using local Western Australian ingredients. This brandy is bottled at 48% ABV as a single barrel expression, reflecting the character of the specific cask from which it was drawn. The higher bottling strength preserves the full intensity of the spirit as it emerged from the barrel, allowing the drinker to appreciate the raw material and maturation without dilution. On the nose, the spirit is intense, with aromas of dried fruit, warm wood spice, vanilla and caramel. The palate is full and warming, with concentrated fruit character, toasted oak and spice. The finish is long and complex with a distinctive Western Australian character.
