Hibiki Blender's Choice is a distinguished expression from the House of Suntory, crafted to showcase the expertise and artistry of Suntory's master blenders. Introduced as a response to the discontinuation of the age-stated Hibiki expressions, Blender's Choice draws on a carefully curated selection of malt whiskies from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries alongside Chita grain whisky, blended without age statement to give the master blenders maximum flexibility in achieving the ideal flavour profile each release.

A defining characteristic of this expression is the prominent use of American white oak casks, which impart a distinctly sweet and approachable character that sets it apart from other expressions in the Hibiki range. While it sits below the age-stated expressions in terms of rarity, it delivers a level of refinement and balance that firmly upholds the Hibiki name. Presented in the iconic 24-faceted bottle representing the 24 seasons of the traditional Japanese calendar, it is a worthy addition to any whisky collection and an excellent entry point into the premium Hibiki range.

Tasting Notes
Bright golden amber in the glass. The nose is fresh and welcoming — honey, vanilla, ripe melon, and white peach, with delicate floral notes and a subtle hint of oak spice. The palate is smooth and approachable, delivering sweet toffee, stone fruit, gentle cinnamon, and a soft oakiness that builds through the mid-palate. The finish is clean, medium in length, and pleasantly sweet with a lingering warmth of vanilla and light spice.

Serves Best With
Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube. Also excellent in a classic Highball with chilled sparkling water and a twist of lemon peel. Pairs well with light Japanese cuisine, soft cheeses, smoked salmon, or vanilla-based desserts.
