Produced from 100% Blue Weber Agave grown in the red clay soils of the Jalisco Highlands, this expression is aged for seven months in seasoned American white oak barrels. The extended fermentation time of 80 hours (compared to the industry standard of approximately 24 hours) contributes to the complexity of flavour in the finished tequila. The seven-month reposado ageing develops colour, softness and oak-derived character. On the nose, aromas of smooth caramel, vanilla, light toasted oak and ripe agave develop. The palate is soft and rounded, with flavours of vanilla, light caramel, agave and a subtle spice. The finish is medium-long, smooth and defined by the balanced integration of agave and oak.
