The palate boasts freshly cut boards, tropical fruit syrup, muddy peat, hint of violet, juicy orange, light smoke. Each sip finishes with anis, light wood and sawdust, floral notes linger. This elegant expression of Talisker is reminiscent of much older drams. Adding water subdues the sea and raises subtle, sweeter notes. It makes a perfect accompaniment to seafood.
