Glenfiddich continues as the leader in fine single malt Scotch whiskies with this 40 Year Old Scotch Whiskey. Founded in 1887 by William Grant after procuring machinery from the Cardhu Distillery, Glenfiddich is still in the hands of the Grant family over 110 years later. The 40 Year Old was created using the remnant vatting system and is displayed in a calf leather case complete with lock and key. The bottle is wax sealed, signed and individually numbered and comes complete with a leather bound book detailing the whisky’s history.

TASTING NOTES: Silky smooth and luxurious. Intense dried fruit notes are followed by rich fruitcake, dates, raisins and stewed apples. Over time slightly dry oak notes appear, with a hint of bitter chocolate and the faintest peat notes.

SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve neat or with a couple of drops of water (to bring out the flavours).
